Pakistan Super League is one of the best quality cricket leagues which is a brand of Pakistan. As we all know that Pakistan super league(PSL) is T-20 cricket tournament which is held every year since 2015. As we all know that after the uncovering of PSL Pakistan cricket team got a lot of talent which helped Pakistan in winning Champions trophy 2018. PSL is now an icon and brand which represents Pakistan as peace and sports-loving country across the globe. As cricket is one of the most followed sports in Pakistan and people of Pakistan love cricket a lot. Pakistan super league has three editions until now.
There are three editions of PSL(Pakistan super League) until now. In that three edition twice one franchise by the name Islamabad United (IU) won the PSL under the captaincy of former test cricketer Misbah ul Haq in 2015 and 2018 respectively. While another franchise Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) won PSL in 2017 under the captaincy of former test cricketer Darran Sammy. PSL has produced quality talent in a very short period of time. In last year another new franchise by the name Multan Sultan(MS) started their journey in PSL. With the evolution of PSL, Pakistan cricket team got some young crickets in the form of Hassan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, shadab Khan, and Hussain Talat. Pakistan cricket board polish the talent and as a result Pakistan cricket term won Champions Trophy 2018.
The revival of Cricket in Pakistan through PSL:
The first edition of PSL(Pakistan super League) was held in UAE(Dubai and Sharjah) and none of the matches were played in Pakistan. But after a lot of efforts and dedication Ex-Chairman PCB Najam Sethi hard work paid off and final of PSL2 was held in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Although some of the foreign players refused to come to Pakistan but still Pakistanis fully cashed that moment of joy. Cricket is the most loved sports in Pakistan. That final gave a big hope to Pakistanis that now they can hope that in Cricket will come back home soon in Pakistan. After the successful Final in Lahore Chairman PCB announced that PSL3 2nd and a 3rd playoff will be played in Lahore while final will be played in Karachi. So all the world witnessed these events being held in Pakistan and Pakistanis showed that they are cricket and Peace loving country. Almost all the foreign cricketers came to Pakistan and a successful event was finished in which Islamabad grab the PSL3 Trophy. Now in Feb 2019 PSL4 will be played and it is expected that half of the PSL will be played in Pakistan.
Now recently South African Cricketer Ab Devilliers has announced that he will be a part of PSL4 which is a great news for AB Devilliers Lovers that he will feature in PSL4. Pakistan Super League(PSL) will grow more and more as it progresses and cricket in Pakistan will also come back permanently.
